Prom is fast approaching and you have done all of the hard work. What else do you need to do to make sure that you are ready for this very special day? Start by laying out all of the things you will wear. Get your jewelry picked out. Be sure that you know when your hair appointment is and when your last tanning session will be. Then, there are a few things you will need to plan to do the day of before and the day of prom. Here is a checklist to help you to make it happen.
The night before prom, you need to make sure you have done everything you can. If you will have your eyebrows waxed, do that this day. You also may want to get in that last tanning session. The day before prom, be sure you have tried on your dress and broken in your prom shoes. Wear them for a few hours so they are more comfortable on your prom day. If your dress needs any alterations, have this done now. That way you do not have to worry about it on your prom day itself.
Create a checklist for your prom day itself. What should be on here is everything that you need to do on prom day. This includes everything from what time you will get up and shower to shaving and your nail appointments. Be sure that you have eaten something throughout the day, too, otherwise you won't have any stamina for the long night ahead. If it is possible, try to take a late morning or early afternoon nap, before you head out to get your nails done. This will be one long night and you want to be at your best.
You may also want to include a checklist of items to take with you that day. This includes your prom tickets, your purse and wallet, and any identification you have. You may want to have your cell phone charged and ready to go. Keep your lipstick and touch ups for makeup in your bag as well. You should have some cash on you, just in case there is a need, but usually there is not a need for a lot of money. Make a list of anything else you may need for this night so you can quickly run it down right before you leave for prom.
There are many things to think about for your prom day. By making a fast checklist of anything you need to keep in mind, you are well on your way to having an amazing evening without forgetting anything. It can also help you to enjoy planning for prom more.
